Visiting the area for a couple of months and wanted to try a sushi place. Ohkura is located right outside of the main gate to the AFB. It doesn’t look like much from the road, but once you are inside you will find it is very clean, quiet, casual and the staff is polite and friendly. They sat us right away, brought our drinks, answered any questions about the menu and even made a couple of suggestions. The food is prepared fresh at the sushi bar and it not only looked amazing, it tasted delicious. The prices are typical of what you would expect at a casual sushi restaurant. The menu had plenty of options. We would definitely eat here again.

Servers were courteous and always did their best to accommodate me whenever I had questions about specific items in their menu. I truly enjoy how comfortable they made me feel whenever I dine in or ordered for take out. I love their bento boxes (shrimp tempura, gyoza, beef teriyaki, nigiri), gyudon, and their grilled squid!

It was really good. I had the Travis roll and Ohkura roll and they were both delicious, also very huge rolls. I also ordered the Seasame chicken but it didn't come with any sauce. It was still good but could have used something on it.

Been coming to Ohkura for about 15 years. Always a great place for Japanese food. Today I got a tonkatsu donburi, I haven't had a donburi in awhile. Fantastic, quick and yummy!

Wonderful Japanese restaurant to come and enjoy delicious food. I went for the bento box and was not disappointed. Very, very delicious food and the box came with a soup and salad. I highly recommend.

Sushi is always fresh and has the right fish to rice ratio. Their tempura sauce is watered down but their miso soup is flavorful.
